At NBCC, your wellbeing is priority.  We understand that your college experience is more than just academics – it’s a time of growth, discovery and sometimes, challenges.  That’s why we’ve developed supports designed to help you thrive both in and out of the classroom.   From student activities (such as wellness fairs, animal visits), mental health, academic supports to help preparing for the job market, we offer workshops, wellness activities, and access to online resources to ensure you have the tools you need to thrive.

Flexible Counselling Support – Anytime, Anywhere

At NBCC, we know that every student’s journey is unique—and so are their needs. That’s why our counselling services are designed to be flexible, accessible, and student-centered.

  • Weekday Support:
    Connect with NBCC Counsellors during regular hours at your campus.
  • After-Hours Counselling:
    Evening appointments are available on Mondays and Wednesdays , offering extra support when you need it most.
  • 24/7 Virtual Support:
    Access immediate, confidential help anytime through myWellness, your always-on mental health companion.

Online Mental Health Support

  • myWellness provides immediate counselling support and resources for students experiencing mental health issues through virtual counselling, and tools that help with student-life and mental-health balance, available 24/7. Find more details on your .

Sexual Violence Resources and Support

Megen Gaudet

NBCC students on the Fredericton campus have access to Campus Sexual Assault Support Advocate (CSASA) Megen Gaudet, who provides support to survivors of sexual violence. This goes beyond providing resources and allows survivors to develop a personal connection with someone and find a safe place to feel heard, believed, and validated while they work to explore available options.

Megen can offer trauma-specific counselling as well as help report an incident, arrange accommodations, seek medical help and much more.
